There is an antenatal clinic at the Surgery every Tuesday Afternoon for follow up and Thursday’s for 1st Appointments with the doctors and midwives in attendance.
Postnatal examinations are carried out with newborn baby checks on by Dr’s in the Morning’s.
This is available at the Surgery which is delivered by our trained nurses and doctors. We also offer intra-uterine device insertion and removal as well as nexaplanon.
Contact a practice nurse for advice or for emergency contraception – the 'morning after' pill.
Wednesday Mornings from The Orchard Surgery and we offer Saturday Mornings every two weeks from Langley Health Centre. Multi-disciplinary care for both insulin and non-insulin dependent diabetics.
Held weekly to help in understanding and self management of asthma and in the proper use of treatment devices. Attendance is recommended at least once a year. Contact a practice nurse for details.
By appointment with practice nurses. To promote health and to screen for certain conditions including male/female health checks, blood pressure and weight reduction.
We strongly recommend all women between the ages of 20 and 65, who have ever been sexually active, to have a cervical smear every three to five years dependent on age. Please call on the appointment line to book these.
If you have a recall it very rarely means anything serious. Usually it is because you have a minor infection or your smear shows inflammation that requires to be observed until it settles down.
To treat warts and other small skin problems. Appointments need to be made at Langley Health Centre after being first seen by a doctor.
Advice and immunisation for foreign travel. By appointment with the practice nurse.
Usually held in October and November every year.

Minor operations for minor skin lesions (moles, small lumps etc) are performed by our doctors after they have been assessed for suitability and an appointment has been made.
Our treatment room is run by the practice nurses and is used for routine blood tests, minor surgery, ECGs, dressings etc. By appointment.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
Bloods tests are only done at Herschel Medical Centre with a booked appointment or Pathology at Frimley Park Hospital (WPH).
